Commons at Imperial Hotel
One of the remaining tall buildings in Atlanta built in the Chicago style during the city’s first era of skyscraper construction, the 1911 eight-story Imperial Hotel in Atlanta is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is recognized by the city as a Landmark building. The Imperial is one of the few remaining hotel buildings of this era that catered to the businessmen and tourists who frequented Peachtree Street. In 2012, C+H adapted the building to serve as permanent supportive housing for the formerly homeless and other persons with special needs.
