Ivy Hall

Designed by noted architect G.L. Norrman and built in 1883, this 4,400 square-foot, two-and-one-half story residence is a listed on the National Register of Historic Places. C+H worked with the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) to restore the house that had been so damaged due to fire and neglect, it was listed as one of the most endangered buildings in the city in 2001 and again in 2003. Rehabilitation included removal of a 1970’s restaurant addition and restoration of character-defining features including the slate roof, decorative sheet-metal, wood millwork, plaster finishes and masonry,
