Piedmont Driving Club Golf

Established in 1887, the Piedmont Driving Club is one of Atlanta’s oldest and most prestigious private clubs. Choate + Hertlein was engaged to design a new Golf Clubhouse on a 147-acre site to bring golf to the membership. Taking inspiration from the original, historically-significant building at their Midtown Atlanta location, the new clubhouse was designed to reflect the architectural language of an English Country Estate blending rustic, Tudor and Gothic elements. Only twenty minutes away from the historic Midtown club, the new golf clubhouse is a continuum of this picturesque architecture, sitting on the highest point of the site, overlooking the lake.
